De resum: "Els drets lingüístics han adquirit la condició de drets humans universals per a Nacions Unides. Malgrat això, els drets humans no s'apliquen directament en cap lloc. De fet, el reconeixement dels drets lingüístics de manera plena o parcial, o la seua negació més radical, depén de la regulació legal concreta que en fan els estats. La distància entre les declaracions de l’ONU i els drets concrets pot ser molt gran, especialment per les llengües que no tenen la protecció activa dels estats". |

Abstract: "Linguistic rights have acquired the status of universal human rights according to the United Nations. However, human rights are not applied directly anywhere. In practice, the recognition of linguistic rights, whether in whole or in part, or their most radical denial, depends on the specific legal regulation in each member state. The gap between UN declarations and specific rights can be very large, especially for languages that do not have the active protection of states". |
