Resum en català: "Joan Santanach esbossa la presència d’elements artúrics en la literatura catalana medieval com a introducció a la seva recerca sobre la traducció catalana de la narració de 'Tristany'. L’autor descriu detalladament la tradició manuscrita d’aquestes traduccions, incloent-hi un testimoni fins ara desconegut, adquirit recentment per la Biblioteca de Catalunya, i ofereix un primer intent de situar aquesta branca del 'Tristany' romànic dins de la família manuscrita meridional. Encara cal més recerca per establir la relació entre els tres fragments catalans conservats, però, com a hipòtesi de treball, Santanach proposa un grup manuscrit hispànic comú amb dues branques, una en castellà i una en català". |

Resum en anglès: "Joan Santanach sketches the presence of Arthurian elements in medieval Catalan literature as an introduction to his research on the Catalan translation of the 'Tristan' narrative. The author thoroughly describes the manuscript tradition of these translations, including a previously unknown witness, recently acquired by the Biblioteca de Catalunya, and off ers a first attempt to locate this branch of the Romance language 'Tristan' within the Southern manuscript family. Further re-search is needed to establish the relationship between the three extant Catalan fragments but, as a working hypothesis, Santanach proposes a two-branch com-mon Spanish and Catalan manuscript group". |
