Balanç de la trajectòria de la filòloga clàssica Bàrbara Matas, desapareguda el 2017, que s'havia especialitzat en la didàctica del llatí en manuals per a secundària. A més de la docència universitària, va impulsar les col·leccions "La Quimera" i "L'Esparver Clàssic", on va publicar diverses traduccions al català de textos de literatura llatina.
