    abstract = {Del resum: "Aquest treball pretén demostrar que la narrativa
               postmodernista és concebuda com un joc que requereix la
               participació de l’autor, del lector i dels personatges. La
               metaficció que caracteritza aquest tipus de narrativa ens ajuda
               a entendre quin és el paper de cadascun d’aquests agents i
               quin sentit social adquireix la concepció de la literatura com a
               joc. Per analitzar aquestes qüestions es parteix del corpus
               novel·lístic d’un dels escriptors postmodernistes més
               destacats de la literatura catalana, Vicenç Pagès Jordà,
               format per: 'El món d’Horaci' (1995), 'Carta a la reina
               d’Anglaterra' (1997), 'La felicitat no és completa' (2003),
               'Els jugadors de whist' (2009), 'Dies de frontera' (2014) i
               'Robinson' (2017). L’anàlisi comparativa d’aquestes sis
               novel·les posades en relació amb nocions clau del
               postmodernisme permet estudiar el lligam entre joc i metaficció
               i mostrar com acaben constituint nous valors literaris en funció
               de la nova realitat postmoderna".},

               postmodernist fiction is conceived of as a game requiring the
               participation of the author, the reader and the characters. The
               metafiction essential to this type of novel helps us understand
               the role of each of those agents and how the conception of
               literature as a game can acquire a social meaning. To examine
               these questions, the article takes as its case the novels of one
               of the foremost postmodernist authors in Catalan literature,
               Vicenç Pagès Jordà: 'El món d’Horaci' (1995), 'Carta a la
               reina d’Anglaterra' (1997), 'La felicitat no és completa'
               (2003), 'Els jugadors de whist' (2009), 'Dies de frontera' (2014)
               i [sic] 'Robinson' (2017). A comparative analysis of those six
               novels in the light on some of postmodernism’s central notions
               brings out the connection between playfulness and metafiction and
               shows how they can turn into new literary values in tune with the
